"ABCOMM's Pride"

Last January 09, 2017, STI College Calamba held an event “Tagisan ng Talino”. It’s composed of different kinds of competition like, Stand up and Deliver, Shutters’ Best, All in Place, Worth the Whisk Chef Express, Essay Does it, Into Programming and App and Running. A lot of students participated in the said event.

Maria Johanna Agawin 3rd year irregular Bachelor of Arts in Communication (ABCOMM) student was one of the contestants in Think Quest, Shutter’s Best and Stand up and Deliver. In all the said competitions she joined, she won 1st runner up in Shutter’s Best wherein they present random own captured photos.

Even though she didn’t won in other contests she joined, for her, it’s a great experience that will help her to be an effective communicator. And also according to her you shouldn’t need to be too brainy to won in a competition, you should have the skills, confidence and believe in yourself that you can do it.

In every competition there will be a winner and a loser. It’s not a bad thing to lose, the important is you enjoyed and give your best in everything you do.
